A community of practice for the GreenComp framework

The European Commission has recently launched “Education for Climate”, a participatory community for students, teachers and education stakeholders to connect education with the topic of environmental sustainability. The platform offers the possibility to create a personal profile, share news about own actions, participate to European challenges, be active member of a number of focus specific communities. During the first days of launch, the platform got already 5.000 users registered (more or less active) which is ensuring a very strong base for discussion and cooperation.

GreenComp Community

Among the communities already available and open at the launch of the platform, a GreenComp community is on, waiting for practitioners to share how they are using the framework in order to promote a more hands-on approach to the “new born” in the family of EC competences frameworks.

The partnership of EntreComp4Transition is very aware of the importance of having a virtual space for connecting people, ideas and practices and that is why this new community will be connected with the country clusters launched as key action of the project and hosted in the EntreComp platform. The hope is to connect the two communities and valorize the work of the partnership as one of the most relevant initiative at EU level on supporting SMEs in the digital and green transitions.
