Greetings from the heart of Matera, Italy, where the EntreComp4Transition partners recently convened for a productive and insightful meeting on the 18th and 19th of October 2023. Nestled in the historic city known for its ancient cave dwellings, the Matera meeting served as a pivotal moment for our consortium, marked by discussions, decisions, and strategic planning.
Setting the Stage in Matera
Matera, with its unique charm and rich history, provided an inspiring backdrop for our gathering. The city’s Sassi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, witnessed our engaged discussions as we delved into the intricacies of our project’s various work packages. A special thank you to the team from Materahub for hosting us, and for welcoming us to your beautiful city – we will all be wearing our Materahub caps with pride!
Work Package Highlights
Project Management: The meeting kicked off with a comprehensive overview of Project Management in WP1. Partners were reminded of financial reporting regulations, continuous reporting responsibilities, and the importance of work package timelines. The emphasis on diligent reporting and budget adherence set the tone for our commitment to transparency and accountability.
MOOC Presentation and Validation: WP4 took centre stage as Universidad de Cantabria presented the MOOC platform’s back-end and front-end user views. Partners then broke into working groups to initiate the validation process, reviewing the course content prepared so far by each learning pathway lead, offering suggestions and improvements. The partners are commitment to creating a secure and meaningful learning environment within The EntreComp Community.
Pilot Experience Design: WP5 saw partners engaging in dynamic discussions, applying the world café principle to create a common framework for implementing the pilot experience. The agreement on a detailed timeline and the structure for trainer selection underscored our dedication to a well-organised and impactful pilot phase.
As we reflect on the Matera meeting, each partner is encouraged to consider how the outcomes align with their organisational needs. In Matera, against the backdrop of ancient history and modern collaboration, our consortium forged ahead with purpose and unity. The decisions made and discussions held during this meeting lay the foundation for the success of our project. As we navigate the intricate path ahead, Matera remains a symbol of the strength and resilience of our partnership.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue our journey towards the shared goals of innovation, education, and positive impact. Matera has witnessed the strategic decisions, and our collective efforts will undoubtedly leave an indelible mark on the future of our project.
